Watch the story of The Frog Prince

  • Who are the main characters?
  • What is their relationship?
  • What did the Princess do?
  • How did the frog help?
  • What happened to the frog?

 Watch a second time and make a story map.

Geography: Where does our food come from?

Find the origins of the food you have eaten this week.

Show this however you want.

  • Who are the main characters?
  • What is their relationship?

Literacy: Fairy Tales- You Choose

Choose a Fairy Tale that you like.

Click the links for some examples:

Can you think of any other Fairytales?

  • Think about the characters in the story.
  • What happens to the main character at the beginning?
  • What other characters come into the story? What is the significance of them?
  • How does the tale end? 

Can you retell this story?

Science: Heart Rate experiment

The children will now have access to the Stemscopes science website. This allows us to be able to set work in a similar way to Mymaths. You can log in by following these steps:

1- Initial of first name + surname (If your surname is double barrelled include a space in between)

 2- Password is stgeorges

 3- Some usernames may be followed by the number 1.

If you are still unable to log in after  following these instructions then please email the school office on admin@stgeorges.lewisham.sch.uk and your child’s log in will be sent to you

  • How did they resolve the problem? Did it involve a new character?
  • How did it end for the main character/s?

Literacy: Continue A Fairy Tale- Write

Can you write up your own continued story using your plan from yesterday?

Add pictures throughout to make it like a real fairy tale!

 Art: Thank you Key Workers

  • What is a Key Worker?
  • Who are Key Workers?

Create a piece of art which is focused on a key worker. You could sketch, draw or paint. You could even create a sculpture or a collage.
