SHS Practitioner of the Year
St George’s School Governors and staff are very proud to announce that Lee Franklin has been awarded the title of School Practitioner of the Year by the Trustees of the Charity, School Home Support. The Trustees recognised the hard work and commitment shown by Lee who goes above and beyond to support the families at our school. Below are some quotes from the speech given by the Headteacher at the Ceremony where Lee was presented with her award:
‘Parents know that Lee is there ready to listen, offer advice and support, whilst at the same time knowing that she will challenge any behaviour that is not in the best interests of the children’ ‘Lee brings dedication to her role, a warm, level –headed and professional approach, as well as an infectious sense of fun which makes her popular with children, staff and parents alike.’
‘Lee is a person of great integrity who really cares! Lee never blows her own trumpet, rather she plays down her own role, praising others before herself, and it is for this reason that I am so pleased that Lee has been publicly recognised by the Trustees of SHS’.
Finally, on behalf of the children, staff, parents and governors of the School I would like to say how proud we are to have the SHS Practitioner of the year working at our school.
