Perfect Printing!

Best Class took their artistic talents into the world of printing!

In year 6 this week, we have been furthering our Year 5 skills of printing. We used our previous art work on vanishing points (which you can see in the additional photos) and used a viewfinder to select a small piece of the artwork. We then used the Styrofoam board to create a template and used a pencil to imprint the design.

The process involved rolling on ink using a dry roller to ensure all the board printed and then removing our design. We did this with three layers of colour adding more design each time. The boards print the negative space, so we really had to think about our designs.

We did this through the art curriculum's vision:

Be creative. Be proficient. Be reflective.

Enjoy the photos!
