Breakthrough Learning
Breakthrough Learning is a subject that is proving to be very popular at St George’s. One session a week is dedicated to a project of each child’s choosing. They can choose to create something or develop a new skill. They must plan, research, create and evaluate their project by themselves or within a small group. Staff are there to support but all ideas come from the students. The children work extremely hard on their individual projects and have created some wonderful things.

In Berry and Shakespeare classes we have a range of projects from the Autumn term. We have had cakes and cupcakes, we have had instructional slime films. There has been a modroc dolphin, different animations and coding. We also have sweet factory models and a range of sport skills being taught through film.
