Salary details: £22800 – £23211
Job type: Full time – term time only, (39wks per year), 30hrs per week, 9.00 – 3.30pm (excluding 30 minute lunchbreak)

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team. You must have a good standard of English and Maths and be able to communicate effectively with adults and children. We expect that you will use your initiative and embrace new challenges to work with groups and with individuals. You will be willing to work closely with teachers and other support staff to plan for the individual needs of our SEN pupils. We can offer you a community of keen children, a hard working, motivated and caring team and a professional and supportive work environment, with a commitment to developing your skills.
It is essential the candidate has the following attributes:
- The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience of working with children in KS1 and KS2
- Experience of work with children with a range of SEN, including ASD
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Knowledge of how to support teaching and learning effectively
- Knowledge of ways to adapt and personalise learning to cater for the needs of individual children, particularly those with SEN
- A range of behaviour management strategies, underpinned by a calm approach
- A professional manner with excellent communication skills
The role will also entail Mealtime Supervisor duties.
Salary £22800 – £23211 Pro Rata Term time only 39 weeks per year
