Our Value of the month: INTEGRITY

Dear St. George's families,

It has been a fabulous final week of the term. It was a pleasure seeing some of the wonderful completed curriculum enrichment home learning tasks on display at our Home Learning Exhibitions. It is so powerful to continue learning outside of the classroom and it looks like there was lots of fun had too!

The whole school had the pleasure of walking to our Church on the last day of term. Father Richard was really impressed with Faith Team's contributions to the service and the whole school's fabulous singing. We were all really grateful for the church's gift of a small Easter Egg for every child to go home with. We wonder how many will last until Easter Sunday before being devoured!

All families from Year 1 upwards should have received their child's progress report for the Spring term via email. Please take the time to look at your child's latest assessment scores and teacher assessment of how well they are currently achieving. Together, we can make a real difference and ensure that our pupils live out our vision statement of: Be great.

Finally, we hope you enjoy the Easter break and have lots of quality time with your children. Please keep up reading with your child during this time and also give them lots of time on Times Table Rockstars. We have noticed a real difference in our pupils' multiplication scores since this has been completed regularly.

We wish you the very best of Easter Breaks, full of rest and fun, ready for learning in the Summer Term.

Being together means attending school regularly. This year, we have set a challenging target for attendance to be in line with pre-Covid levels. Each week we will publish our attendance in this newsletter. Please contribute by ensuring your child is in school, not missing out on learning.

This week's average attendance: 96.3%
Highest class attendance of the week: Sancho-Thunberg Class - 99.23%
Academic year's average attendance: 94.44%
Our target for the year: 97.00%

We are proud to say that we have won a certificate for our attendance! Have a look below to see.
