Our Value of the month: LOVE

Dear St. George's families,

The Summer term is always an exciting one, especially for sports. This week, we took on local school, Perrymount, at football. Check out the news story below to find out how the battle of Forest Hill went!

You will see below that our second open worship of the year is coming up. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the morning. It really is moments like this that ensure we live out our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

Finally, a reminder that it is Bank Holiday on Monday so school will be closed. We hope you enjoy the extra day together as a family.

We wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Tuesday.

Mr Janes

Attendance

At St Georges's, our culture statement says:

We are fun. We are together.

Being together means attending school regularly. This year, we have set a challenging target for attendance to be in line with pre-Covid levels. Each week we will publish our attendance in this newsletter. Please contribute by ensuring your child is in school, not missing out on learning.

This week's average attendance: 94.77%
Highest class attendance of the week: Tull Class - 97.93%
Academic year's average attendance: 94.68%
Our target for the year: 97.00%

We are proud to say that we have won a certificate for our attendance! Have a look below to see.
