Our Value of the month: HONESTY

Dear St. George's families,

The final Summer term of 2024 is now in full swing. In the next few weeks, we have lots of fun events coming up.

Don't forget to get thinking about your costume for Be Brave Day. Check out our news report from last year's event for inspiration here!

We also have Diversity Day and Evening coming up. We hope to make both events as spectacular as last year. Please have a think about how your child can reflect their heritage or someone else's respectfully through their clothes during the day and please offer up your cooking skills to support with meals for the evening! Check out what happened during the day last year here. Check out how fabulous the evening event was here.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes

Attendance

At St Georges's, our culture statement says:

We are fun. We are together.

Being together means attending school regularly. This year, we have set a challenging target for attendance to be in line with pre-Covid levels. Each week we will publish our attendance in this newsletter. Please contribute by ensuring your child is in school, not missing out on learning.

This week's average attendance: 93.64%
Highest class attendance of the week: Tull Class - 97.33%
Academic year's average attendance: 94.83%
Our target for the year: 97.00%

We are proud to say that we have won a certificate for our attendance! Have a look below to see.
