Our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.

Our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

Dear St. George's families,

It has been a week full of enrichment and character building opportunities at St George's.

We are so proud to give pupils the opportunity to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test. We may have a few Richard Bransons among our current class, as they have begun Mini Enterprise so well. They certainly know how to make money! Have a look at the news story below to see how they have been getting on.

There has also been lots of enrichment through food technology in Year 5 and Year 3. Popcorn and Danish delicacies have been on offer. Looking at the news stories below is sure to make your mouth water!

On top of that, Year 4 ventured to Mayow Park to experience an integral part of our PE offer: competition! One of our teams did particularly well. Have a read below to see.

Moving away from our pupils' school experiences, we would also like to point you in the direction of our new wraparound service to be provided by The Young Explorers Club from September. There is a link later on in this newsletter with a bit more information for you.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes
