Dear St. George's families,

What a great week of sporting opportunities we have had! Year Four in particular have been extremely busy. They have been involved in hockey and cricket activities. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic Sports Lead at St George's who organises such great events for our pupils.

It has also been fantastic seeing our pupils being such courageous advocates once again, raising money for new books and playtime materials through School Council's sponsored variety mile event. Check out the news story below to see how the pupils got on in the sunshine.

A reminder to Year One parents that next week your children will be participating in the Phonics Screener. A reminder of what the test entails has been sent to you on SchoolPing. Please do not hesitate to see Mrs King if you have any questions. We look forward to our Year One readers showing off their phonetic talents!

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
