Dear St. George's families,

What a lovely pickup time we had yesterday afternoon. The Quad was decorated with all of our year groups' latest art outcomes. We also had performances from a number of classes and Glee Club. This was all in the name of our Celebration of Arts Festival. A big thank you to the parents who stayed a little later than usual to celebrate what we do for the arts at St George's. As we say in our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

You will be aware that there are NEU strikes coming up on Wednesday and Friday of next week. As we have done in the past, we will be having a partial closure. If you child's class is due to attend on either day, you will have received a letter via SchoolPing earlier in the week. Thank you for your ongoing understanding.

There will still be lots happening next week though. We are so proud of our diverse community here at St George's and are really looking forward to celebrating Diversity Day and Evening next Thursday. Your help with providing food for the evening will be very much appreciated. Check out our news stories from last year about Diversity Day here and Diversity Evening here. Let's make this year even better!

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
