Dear St. George's families,

What a great beginning to the new academic year it has been. We have already seen so many examples of our pupils living out our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.

At the start of the new year, it is always good to get organised! Please check the dates at the end of this newsletter so your child does not miss out on any of the fun and important events we have coming up.

Something new we are starting this year is our 'Start of the Year' Meetings. You should have received information on what these meeting entail for parents via SchoolPing this week. There is also information about it later in this newsletter.

The meetings are really important in enabling you to support your child this upcoming year. Teachers will be explaining our new home learning procedures so that you are really clear on what we think will set your child up to succeed. We look forward to seeing you all there.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes
