Our Value of the month: FORGIVENESS

Dear St. George's families,

It has been an exciting first week back after half-term. It has been great seeing work begin on the redevelopment of our outside spaces.

St George's very first Head Boy and Head Girl were introduced to the school at Celebration worship on Friday. Check out the news story below to see who our pupil representatives are.

Our culture statement says: We are together. Next week, we are offering two ways for us to work together. Firstly, we have open classrooms on Thursday evening after school. This is a great opportunity for you to come and see your child's classroom, their exercise books and speak with their class teacher. We look forward to seeing you all there during one of the time slots. Please see the information below for more details.

Secondly, Father Richard is inviting parents to attend his weekly assembly on Thursday morning next week. The slot is for twenty minutes from 9:10am until 9:30am. It is a chance to reflect with the children and participate with Father Richard in one of his great worships.

Finally, it has been wonderful seeing so many of our classes participate in class trips and workshops this week. We are passionate about learning both inside and outside of the classroom. Check out the news stories below to see what we have got up to.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes

Open Classrooms

Don't forget to add the 9th November (next week!) to your diary for one of our Open Classroom evenings. You can come in and view your child's exercise books and speak about their learning to their class teacher.

We have two slots: one straight after school and one later in the evening at 6pm for those who work at that time.

Open assembly

Next Thursday, Father Richard is extending an invitation to his weekly assembly to parents and friends.

We are looking forward to seeing as many families as possible. Please see SchoolPing to reserve your place!

This is a lovely opportunity for us to come together as a school community and enjoy one of the great worships that Father Richard always leads.
