Our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.

Our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

Dear St. George's families,

We love sports at St George's and this week has been an exceptionally sporty one.

On Sunday, a group of our pupils had the opportunity to go to the O2 to watch live basketball. Then, on Monday, a group of Year 5 and 6 pupils led worship and told us all about their adventure two weeks ago at the Vitality Mile.

Later on in the week, our pupils participated in no less than two inter-school competitions. Check out the news items below to see how our pupils got on. We are so proud to offer these opportunities to our children. A big thank you to Miss Michell for leading sports at St George's so well!

We look forward to seeing everyone dressed in red, white and blue next Wednesday for our Jubilee 'Street Party'. There will be scones, music and fun as we commemorate the occasion together.

Thank you to everyone who stated their interest in the “Celebration of the Very Best Food” event at Dulwich Park on June 24th - 27th. The lucky recipients of the prize drawer tickets are: Kieran Year 3B (pupil winner) and Carley Brown (staff winner). There is more information about the event further into the newsletter.

Finally, a reminder that half term begins after school on Thursday next week. School will be closed on Friday. We hope you enjoy the extra day with your family over half term.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes

Sports Day 2022 - Date Change

The date for Sports Day has changed this year and so has the venue!

As Dulwich College sports track will now be having building works during our reserved date, Miss Michell has rearranged for Sports Day to be on 20th July at Ladywell Stadium.

As with last year, we will be asking families to go straight to the venue on the day. More information will be given nearer the time.
