Our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.

Our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

Dear St. George's families,

The summer has well and truly begun now with temperatures becoming increasingly warmer.

On such a sunny day, it was a pleasure to have so many pupils and staff dressed as an inspirational figure for 'Be Brave Day'. Check out the news item below to see who our pupils chose as their role models.

During the week, we were lucky enough to have Andrea, our police support worker, visit all classes and teach about road safety. Our Year 6 pupils also took part in the 'Big Six' Event, where they met other Year 6 pupils from schools across Forest Hill as part of their transition curriculum. We know they all had a fantastic time.

Next week, we look forward to seeing you all at our Diversity Evening. With the sun shining, it will be a pleasure celebrating the cultures which make up the community here at St George's.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes
