Our vision statement: Be brave. Be great. Be you.

Our culture statement: We are fun. We are together.

Dear St. George's families,

It was a pleasure seeing so many of you attend our Open Classrooms. It is so important that you know how your children are doing at school and we want to share how they can make further progress. As our culture statement says: We are fun. We are together.

Some of you will have seen on Twitter that our new specialist art room is now a working space. Ms Hall has worked hard to create a creative area where pupils can express themselves artistically. Look out for some great final pieces coming from the art room in the coming weeks! Click here to have a look at the picture posted on Twitter and give us a follow too.

Finally, we had a few parents enquiring how they can support their child at home. As a school, our top priority is reading. Please take the time to read with your children, modelling a love of imaginary worlds and the written word. Ask them questions and join in when they read. This is our top tip for all of our families and learners!

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
