Dear St. George's families, 

We take safeguarding extremely seriously at St George's and this week we have been ensuring that pupils know how they can keep themselves safe. Ms MacAlpine has asked all classes to participate in the NSPCC's Speak out. Stay safe initiative. Check out the news story below to find out a little more. 

In worship, we have been talking about November being a month of remembering. Next Friday we will participate in a two minutes silence for Remembrance day at 11 o'clock as a whole school community. Before then, poppies are on sale at school and can be worn as recognition for the lives given up for war.

We are now able to announce that we have wraparound care providers at St George's. Young Explorers provide breakfast and after school club on our premises. For more details on this, please see the poster below. 

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Art Auction at St George's

Ms Hall is proud to announce that we will shortly be hosting an art exhibition and sale of our pupils' very own art creations. 

Mr Janes has purchased the first Sunflower painting, created by Kyra in Year 3, for an undisclosed fee, which will go towards our school art fund.

Children's Individual Photographs

Individual pupil photos will be taking place on Monday 21st November. 

These will be taken by Mathew Hull Photography and will be available to purchase by families. Siblings will also be photographed together. 

Please make sure your child comes in well groomed and prepared to look their very best!
