Dear St. George's families,

We have had lots of pupils out and about this week! There have been two sports competitions and a Year 5 trip to the British Museum. Check out the news stories below to see how our sports teams got on.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at Parents' Evenings next week. It is so important that we all know what our children are successful at and how we can best support them to become even better. If you have not yet made your reservation, please check SchoolPing and book a timeslot. We are hoping for a 100% turnout.

Finally, you will be aware that some teacher unions have voted to take strike action, with the first date being Wednesday 1st February. As a school, we will be conducting thorough risk assessments before deciding how this may or may not affect the school day on the first upcoming date. We will communicate this as soon as we have the information we need. Thank you for working with us.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.

Mr Janes
