Dear St. George's families,

What a great week for sports at St George's. There were a few muddy trainers and lots of smiling faces leaving the park on Thursday afternoon. It was, of course, our first Key Stage 2 intra-school sports competition.

The league tables were updated in Celebration Worship and our Sporting Spirits certificates were handed out. A big well done to all of the pupils for competing so well in the football tournaments. A big thank you to Miss Michell for organising such a fun afternoon too. Check out the news stories below to see how the teams got on.

We hope you enjoy your half term, taking the time to spend some quality time with your child. Please take the time to read with your child over the holiday too. Sharing a picture book or reading a novel together can be such a magical experience and will help them with their school work too as they become better and more curious readers. We look forward to seeing you all back in a week's time.

We wish you the very best of half terms, full of rest and fun, ready for learning after your break.
