Dear St. George's families,

As it was International Women's Day this week, we would like to share this thought with you:

'Here's to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.'

We are proud to have so many inspirational female role models at St George's and prouder still of the future role models we have amongst our pupils.

Next week, on Friday, we have the chance for our pupils to show what courageous advocates they are. School Council have arranged for us all to celebrate Red Nose Day by dressing up, selling cakes and raising awareness. Please check SchoolPing for more details.

Today, you will have received notification of our partial closure on Wednesday 15th and 16th March 2023, due to the Industrial Action by the teaching members of the NEU. Pupils in classes which are remaining open will receive a message via SchoolPIng today. We thank you all very much for your support at this time, as we recognise it will cause many of you inconvenience.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
