Dear St. George's families,

What a busy term we have had, which is just the way we like it at St George's!

Our final week has been filled with Easter activities, including trips to the Church for our Easter Service, and competitions to raise money for the Lent Call. Check out the news stories below to see how we got on.

A reminder to Year 2 and Year 6 families that you should now have received your child's progress report via SchoolPing. It is a great chance to compare your child's scores with the scores given to you at Parents' Evening so you know how you can support at home. Families of all other year groups will have their progress reports sent home after the Easter Break.

We want you to have a restful time over the Easter Break, with lots of quality family time. However, please continue to read together with your child and support them to do home learning like Times Tables Rock Stars. We want every child to come back hitting the ground running so they can flourish in the Summer Term.

Finally, parents of children in Year 6, please make a note of the SATS week in the calendar below. It is imperative that your child attends school on that week to sit the tests. If you have any further questions, please see Mr Bayne or myself on the gate. The SATS are a great way of your child showing how much they have learned during their time at Primary and are passed on to Secondary Schools.

We wish you the very best of breaks, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on next half term.
