Dear St. George's families,

It has been wonderful welcoming our pupils back for the start of the Summer term. As ever, we have much to look forward to as the sunnier weather comes upon us. Please check out the dates on the calendar below and make a note of them so you do not miss out on any fun events.

On Sunday, it is St George's Day, which is obviously a special day for all of England, but even more so for us as St George is our school and Church name. To commemorate the day, we all came together to hear the story of St George and the Dragon in a special assembly on Friday. Check out the news story below to see how we got on. We will also have some great retellings from across the school in next week's newsletter.

Early next week, parents in Year 1, 3, 4 and 5 will receive their child's latest report with current test scores. Please look out for these on Schoolping and compare them with last term's scores. It is a great opportunity to celebrate your child's successes and reinforce how much we all value progress in learning at St George's.

As ever, we wish you the very best of weekends, full of rest and fun, ready for learning on Monday.
