On Wednesday, our Year 2 children set off on a very special adventure to Holy Trinity Church for the Spinnaker Trust’s Christmas Journey workshop. From the moment they left school, their excitement set the tone for what became a truly fantastic morning.
Shackleton class visited the British Museum to explore the Ancient Greeks!
This week, Jemison Class took part in a hands-on Science lesson all about identifying and classifying. Using magnifying glasses, the children explored four different types of trees: Beech, Oak, Scots Pine and Horse Chestnut. They carefully examined each leaf’s shape, size and texture, using these clues to work out which tree it had come from. ππ
Today, our Pupil Leadership Team met with representatives from our catering company to talk about what’s going well at lunchtime and to share ideas for making our lunchtime offer even better.
On Wednesday 19th November, our School Council and Pupil Leaders organised a special Jamaica Fundraising Day to support families affected by Hurricane Melissa.
