The annual St George’s Year 3 & 4 Mixed Intra-House Hockey Tournament was an exhilarating display of young talent, teamwork, and determination. Hosted at the exceptional Dulwich College Sports Club, the competition made full use of their top-class astro turf facilities, setting the stage for an action-packed day of hockey.

Following the School Games principles, the tournament began with a round-robin format, allowing each house to compete in a series of exciting matches. The top four teams advanced to the semi-finals, where determination and skill were on full display. Parents filled the sidelines, providing incredible encouragement and adding to the lively atmosphere of the event.

The final was a tense and closely fought contest, with both teams giving their all in pursuit of victory. Just as the match seemed destined for a draw, Green House produced a moment of magic. In the very last second of the game, with the final touch, they netted the decisive goal, securing a dramatic 1-0 victory and igniting jubilant celebrations.
