Our Vision Statement for Geography at St George's is:

Be an explorer. Be global. Be outdoors. 

We thought it was high time we went outdoors and used our compasses to explore! 

This week in Year 3 we have been getting our bearings and using our new-found compass skills for a bit of orienteering in the Quad. We used the arrow to find North and then explored what we could see in all the cardinal directions. Do you know what the 4 cardinal points are? We do!

We can't wait to enhance our skills further when we will be exploring human and physical features in our local area soon.
