No, Prime Minister, we protest!

In line with our spiritual pathway of Confrontation, Year 3 are being Brave standing up for what they believe in. Even if that means writing a formal letter of complaint to Rishi Sunak himself!

Our curriculum vision statement for English is:

Be a reader. Be a writer. Be a communicator.

This half term, Year 3 have been writing formal letters of complaint to the Prime Minister, protesting against the government's proposal to shorten the summer holidays. We have been learning about how to express our thoughts and concern using formal words and phrases, and have honed our secretarial editing skills in publishing our letters. Finally, to give our complaints some oomph, we made placards and staged a protest in the style of Greta Thunberg herself!

As she said "You are never too small to make a difference", and that is what we aim to do!

Merry Christmas, everybody!
