Year 5 Tri-Golf

On Friday 26th April, St George's attended the Lewisham Tri-Golf Competition.

On Friday 26th, 10 year 5 children went to St Dunstan's Jubilee Ground for the annual Tri-golf competition. The group was a mix of boys and girls. This School Games competition is a fun official alternative version of golf, which all children enjoyed and showed the St Georges P.E values.

Be passionate.

Be respectful.

Be determined.

This is a great alternative to get children introduced to golf in a safe and fun way, using light plastic clubs and rubber balls and of course, using lots of energy. Well done to all the children, who for some, were their first time playing.

Have a look at some pictures of the event.

Well done to all the participants. I am sure we have some future golfers in the mix. We look forward to our next School Games event, which will be Year 5 mixed hockey on Friday 10th May.
