Our young learners have been Explorers 🌍, Triers 💪, Talkers 🗣️, and Creators 🎨 as they baked, wrote, and brought the story to life.

📖 Story Fun: We read The Gingerbread Man and enjoyed joining in with the repeated phrases. The children loved retelling the story using puppets and role play.

🍪 Baking Time: As creators, the children had lots of fun making their own gingerbread people. They measured, mixed, and shaped the dough carefully—then, of course, enjoyed a tasty treat!

📝 Writing Tasks: Pupils wrote their own shopping lists and step-by-step instructions on how to make gingerbread people. They showed fantastic effort sounding out words and forming their letters.

It’s been a fun and busy week full of imagination, learning, and delicious smells! Well done, Kahlo Class! 🌟👏
