Open Classrooms 2025

This week we welcomed families into school for our Open Classrooms, and what a fantastic evening it was!

Open Classrooms give parents and carers the chance to sit alongside their children, look through all of their books and celebrate the amazing learning they have achieved so far this year.

Pupils were so excited to share their work — from moments they are proud of to the things they have been working hard to improve. It was wonderful to see children beam with pride as they explained their thinking and talked about what they have learned. These shared moments truly make a difference.

Families also had the opportunity to speak with class teachers about how their children are getting on and discuss ways we can work together to support their progress even further. This partnership is so important in helping every child succeed.

Open Classrooms link directly to our school vision:

Be Brave. Be Great. Be You.

To be great, we must celebrate success and know where we can grow. By talking openly about learning and next steps, pupils become braver learners and more confident individuals.

The event also reflects our culture statement:

We are fun. We are together.

Seeing so many families come in, sit beside their children and enjoy learning together shows exactly what this means. When we work as one community, our pupils truly thrive.
