Year 5/6 Girls Shine at Annual House Football Competition

Yellow House celebrating their win for the Year 5/6 Girls Football Competition.

On Tuesday 10th February, Year 5 and 6 girls travelled to St Dunstan’s Jubilee Grounds to take part in our annual House Girls Football competition. The event brought together players from all five houses for an exciting afternoon of competitive football.

Each house team played against one another in a round-robin format, with all five houses showing great teamwork, skill and sportsmanship throughout the matches. At the end of the group games, the top four teams progressed through to the semi-finals. The winners of those matches then advanced to the final, where the competition reached an exciting conclusion.

Throughout the tournament, all of the girls demonstrated our PE values by being passionate in their play, respectful to teammates, opponents and officials, and determined in every match they played. The standard of football was excellent, and it was fantastic to see such positive attitudes and encouragement across all teams.

A huge congratulations goes to Yellow House, who triumphed with an excellent overall performance to win the competition. Well done to all players involved for representing their houses so proudly and making the event such a success.
