🌸Spring has sprung!πŸπŸŒΌβ€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

This week, Kahlo Class have been learning about Spring and Minibeasts. The children have been wonderful Explorers 🌍, Triers πŸ’ͺ, Talkers πŸ—£οΈ, and Creators 🎨 as they discovered the changes that happen at this time of year.

πŸ“– Be a Talker: We enjoyed the story Winnie the Pooh Saves the Bees and talked about why bees are so important for plants and flowers. The children then wrote some interesting bee facts from the story.

✏️ Be a Trier: Pupils worked hard to label and write about signs of spring, thinking about the changes we can see around us at this time of year.

🌼 Be an Explorer: We went on spring hunts around our outdoor area, searching for flowers, buds, insects, and other signs that spring has arrived.

🎨 Be a Creator: Using what we discovered, the children created beautiful spring collage pictures using a range of materials.

It has been a wonderful week of exploring nature and learning about the important role of minibeasts. Well done, Kahlo Class! 🌟🐞
