Colour, Creativity, and Culture Shine at Annual Arts Festival

On Thursday evening, the whole school community gathered together to celebrate the Arts in a vibrant and exciting festival showcasing creativity across all year groups, from Nursery to Year 6.
The event highlighted the incredible range of artistic learning taking place throughout the school. Children proudly displayed their work and demonstrated skills they have developed in art lessons, filling the school with colour, imagination, and inspiration.
A special highlight of the evening was the series of live performances by pupils in Years 1 to 6. Each year, the group took to the stage to present music, dance, and dramatic pieces, entertaining the audience and celebrating the talent and confidence of the students.
Despite the warm weather, the atmosphere remained lively and enjoyable. To help everyone cool down, ice lollies and popcorn were handed out, which added to the fun and relaxed feel of the evening.
The event was described as a wonderful success, bringing together pupils, staff, and families to celebrate creativity and school spirit. It was truly an amazing evening that showcased the importance of the arts in education.
We have certainly lived out the calls to action in our curriculum vision statement for Art:
Be creative. Be proficient. Be reflective.
