A few weeks ago, we ordered real live caterpillars and have loved watching them grow and change through each stage of their amazing life cycle. The children were fascinated as the caterpillars formed their chrysalises and then emerged as beautiful butterflies.

This week, it was finally time to set them free! The children watched with excitement as the butterflies fluttered away into the sunshine. It was a wonderful way to bring our learning about minibeasts and life cycles to life, and a memory we will all treasure. 🌼💛
