🎂Happy Birthday to you! 🎉

This week, Kahlo Class have been learning about growing up and birthdays as part of our topic Ourselves. We have been busy showing how we can Be an Explorer 🌍, Be a Trier 💪, Be a Talker 🗣️ and Be a Creator 🎨.

📖 Be a Talker: We enjoyed the story Happy Birthday Sam and had great discussions about how we celebrate birthdays and how we change as we grow.

🎈 Be an Explorer & Creator: The home corner became a birthday party! Pupils enjoyed role playing parties, writing birthday cards and invitations, and creating birthday cakes in the malleable area. 🎂 They also practised their counting skills by adding the correct number of candles to their cakes! 🕯️

👶 Guess Who?: Everyone brought in a baby photo, and we had so much fun guessing who was who! It was lovely to see how much everyone has grown.

It’s been a joyful week of celebration and learning—well done, Kahlo Class! 🌟👏
