This week, Jemison Class had a very special visitor! β¨ Father Richard from St George’s Church βͺ came to talk to us about Christian weddings and to show us what happens during a wedding ceremony.
This week, Kahlo Class have been learning all about growing up and birthdays as part of our topic Ourselves. The children have been shining as Explorers π, Triers πͺ, Talkers π£οΈ, and Creators π¨ through lots of fun activities.
The new autumn term is off to a wonderful start, and the nursery children have been busy exploring, learning, and creating!
This week in Geography, Year 3 became real-life explorers as they learned how to use a compass. The children headed outside, compasses in hand, ready to discover how to find their way around the world.

A huge thank you to all the parents who joined us for our Start of the Year meetings. These sessions gave families the chance to hear about what lies ahead now that children are in their new class and year group.

This week, pupils from Years 1 to 6 took part in an exciting Orienteering Morning, where the school grounds were transformed into a vibrant learning space full of maps, markers, and movement! πβοΈπ Orienteering is a fantastic activity that helps children develop essential map reading and navigation skills in a fun and active setting. ππ³

Today was a very special day in Reception and Nursery! After carefully watching our caterpillars grow and change, we released our beautiful butterflies into the wild.
