Inspired by owls, the children began by drawing their own designs, carefully labelling them with the materials and tools they would need ✂️🧵.

Through this project, Jemison artists have truly embraced our Art and Design curriculum vision:

✨ Be Creative – Each child designed their owl in a unique and imaginative way, exploring different colours, textures and patterns.
🛠️ Be Proficient – They practised using a range of equipment with increasing control and confidence.
🪞 Be Reflective – Pupils evaluated their designs and thought carefully about how to bring their 2D ideas to life in 3D form.
