πΌ Wild About Plants in Jemison Class! πΌ

In Science this week, Year 1 Jemison Class went wild — learning all about wild plants! πΏ
We discovered that wild plants like buttercups, dandelions, and daisies grow all around us without humans planting them. Their seeds travel in amazing ways — through the wind, on animals, or even stuck to our shoes! π¬πΎπ
We went outside to observe these wild wonders up close and made some fantastic observational drawings, carefully labelling the different parts of each plant. πΈβοΈ
This exciting lesson helped us live out our Science vision:
π Be academic – We used the right scientific words and spotted patterns in how wild plants grow.
π€ Be curious – We asked great questions like “How did that plant get here?” and “Why do dandelion seeds fly?”
π± Be practical – Getting outside and seeing real plants helped us learn through doing!
Jemison Class are growing their plant knowledge every day — just like wildflowers in the sunshine! βοΈπΌ
