Exciting Enterprise!

Year 6’s Mini-Enterprise Week: Budding Entrepreneurs in Action!
Last week, Year 6 took part in an exciting and inspiring Mini-Enterprise project — a fantastic opportunity to step into the world of business! The children worked in small teams to create their very own mini-businesses from the ground up. From designing eye-catching logos to developing delicious products and practicing their sales pitches, our young entrepreneurs showed incredible creativity, teamwork, and business flair.
The playground was buzzing with customers as pupils set up colourful stalls selling everything from refreshing ice lollies and zesty lemonade to indulgent waffles, milkshakes, and ice cream sandwiches. Sweet treats like iced biscuits, decorated cookies, and cake pops were also snapped up quickly by eager buyers.
Not only did the children have fun and learn valuable skills in marketing, budgeting, and customer service — they also managed to raise enough money to cover the travel costs for one of their end-of-year trips, as well as treat themselves to some well-earned end-of-year goodies.
A huge well done to all of Year 6 for their hard work, enthusiasm and brilliant business ideas. We may have a few future CEOs in the making!
We did this through the school vision:
Be Brave. Be Great. Be You.
