A Great Start in Early Years

This week, Kahlo and Macmillan Class have began their learning journeys with our new topic — Ourselves.

We welcomed back familiar faces and said hello to our wonderful new starters. The children have already been showing what it means to Be an Explorer 🌍. Be a Trier 💪. Be a Talker 🗣️. Be a Creator 🎨.

🤝 Be a Talker: Pupils have been busy making new friends, learning each other’s names, and working together to play and share.

🌿 Be an Explorer: We explored our outdoor area, learning how to use the space safely and with care.

🎨 Be a Creator & a Trier: The children painted wonderful self-portraits and worked hard to write their names, showing great effort and creativity.

It has been a brilliant first week in Reception — well done, Kahlo Class! We can’t wait for all the learning and adventures ahead. 🌟👏
