Healthy Me! 🥭✨
This week, Kahlo Class have been learning all about being healthy as part of our Ourselves topic. The children have been Explorers 🌍, Triers 💪, Talkers 🗣️, and Creators 🎨 through stories, writing, and hands-on fun!
📖 Be a Talker: We enjoyed the story Handa’s Surprise and had great fun acting it out, using expressive voices to bring the characters to life.
🍌 Be a Trier: The children labelled different fruits and wrote shopping lists for our class fruit salad, working hard to use their phonics skills and form their letters carefully.
🍓 Be a Creator & an Explorer: Pupils practised their fine motor skills by safely chopping fruit to make delicious fruit salads. They explored the different textures, colours, and tastes of the fruits Handa found in her basket.
It’s been a colourful and healthy week of learning — well done, Kahlo Class! 🌟👏
