Reflecting on Our Hinduism Learning in RE

This week in RE, Shackleton Class took part in a creative summary lesson to bring together everything we’ve learned about Hinduism this term.
Pupils created colourful mind maps to show their understanding, making connections between the different stories, symbols, and beliefs we’ve explored. This activity really helped everyone to reflect on their learning and see how each lesson built on the last.
We also discussed our philosophical thinking question: “What might a Hindu say is the most important way to show their faith?” Pupils shared their thoughtful answers on whiteboards, using examples from their previous lessons. It was wonderful to see them thinking deeply and listening respectfully to one another’s ideas.
This lesson perfectly linked to our St George’s RE curriculum vision:
Be curious. Be informed. Be reflective.
Shackleton Class certainly showed all three as they demonstrated their growing understanding of faith, respect, and belief in our world today.
