Year 3/4 Boys House Football Delivers Drama at St Dunstan’s Jubilee

2026 Year 3/4 House Football Champions - Green House!

Wednesday 11th February 2026

Following the thrilling Year 5/6 House Football Competition yesterday, anticipation was high at St Dunstan’s Jubilee—and today’s Year 3/4 boys’ event more than lived up to expectations, surpassing them in style.

From the first whistle, the competition was packed with excitement. House teams battled fiercely across every match, producing a showcase of incredible goals alongside some truly exceptional saves from determined goalkeepers. The closely contested games led to numerous nail-biting penalty shoot-outs, drawing crowds of pupils who watched, cheered, and supported their teams with enthusiasm and pride.

A special highlight of the day was the involvement of our Year 5/6 Little Leaders, who supported the event for the very first time. They did an excellent job refereeing matches, keeping scores accurately, and nominating Sporting Spirit winners. Their confidence, fairness, and organisation helped the competition run smoothly and set a fantastic example of leadership for the younger pupils.

Throughout the tournament, the school’s PE values were on full display. Players showed how to be passionate by giving their all in every game, be respectful by encouraging teammates and applauding opponents, and be determined by never giving up—even in the most tense penalty shoot-outs.

The Year 3/4 boys House Football Competition was a wonderful celebration of teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship, leaving players and spectators alike with big smiles and memories to last. Well done to all who took part and helped make the day such a success.
