Celebrating Success in PE: House Football Medal Presentation

Celebrating our House Football medal winners!

This week’s celebratory worship focused on recognising the fantastic effort and achievements of our pupils in Physical Education. We know how important it is for children to take part in sport and physical activity, but it is just as important to celebrate their hard work, commitment and success.

During the worship, we shared the results of the recent House Football competition and proudly presented medals to the children who finished in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. It was wonderful to see the smiles across the hall as the medal winners were called forward. You could clearly see the joy and pride on the children’s faces as they received their medals in front of their peers.

A special mention must go to our Little Leaders, who helped to support the assembly. They showed fantastic leadership skills, confidently assisting with the organisation and helping to present the results. Their involvement made the celebration even more special and demonstrated how pupils can take on responsibility and inspire others.

Sport at our school is built around our PE values:

  • Be Passionate – giving your best and enjoying being active

  • Be Respectful – supporting teammates and showing good sportsmanship

  • Be Determined – working hard, even when things are challenging

These values were clearly demonstrated throughout the House Football competition and during our celebration.

Please take a look at our medal winners and the overall standings table for the House competition to see how each house performed.

We are already looking forward to our next sporting event — the Hockey Competition in April, which will be held at Dulwich College. We are excited to see our pupils continue to represent their houses with passion, respect and determination.

Well done to everyone who took part! 🏅⚽
