Year 3 Dive into Science!

Year 3 pupils had a fantastic opportunity to visit the Science Museum, where they enjoyed a day full of discovery, learning and excitement.
The trip began with an engaging workshop all about the digestive system. During the session, children explored how food travels through the body, learning about each stage in a fun and interactive way.
Following the workshop, the children continued their adventure by visiting the space gallery. They were amazed by the incredible exhibits, including rockets, satellites and information about astronauts, which sparked lots of curiosity and questions.
The visit also included a stop at the Clockmakers’ Workshop, where pupils observed how detailed and complex clocks are carefully designed and constructed. They were fascinated by the precision and craftsmanship involved.
Overall, it was a brilliant day that combined science, history and hands-on learning. The children behaved wonderfully and represented the school with pride, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.
