Year 6 had an unforgettable day at Southend Adventure Island, enjoying an exciting end-of-year trip packed with fun, laughter and plenty of adventure.

After arriving at the seaside, the children wasted no time exploring the park and heading straight for the rides. From thrilling roller coasters that had everyone screaming with excitement to splashing water rides that provided a welcome cool down in the warm weather, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Many pupils also braved the mysterious Spooksville attraction, where spooky surprises and unexpected twists kept everyone laughing. Between the rides, children spent time in the amusement arcades, testing their skills on a variety of games and celebrating their prizes together.

The trip also gave everyone the opportunity to enjoy some classic seaside treats. Children used their spending money sensibly, choosing from delicious ice creams, refreshing drinks and fluffy candy floss, making the day feel even more special.

Throughout the visit, the children demonstrated excellent behaviour, kindness and responsibility. They looked after one another, represented St George's brilliantly and showed fantastic manners to members of the public and park staff alike.

The day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all of the hard work Year 6 has shown throughout the year before they begin their exciting journey to secondary school. It is sure to be a trip filled with memories that will last for many years to come.
