Barbara has always been so much more than a Business Manager. Many of our families will know just how warm, welcoming and caring she is. She has played an enormous part in making St George's the excellent school it is today. Her financial expertise has also helped us provide the fantastic facilities and resources our pupils enjoy, many of which would simply not have been possible without her.

We celebrated Barbara in a special whole-school assembly this morning. Pupils presented her with flowers and a card signed by children across the school. Thank you also to all the parents who contributed to her special card. There was even time for a whole-school dance, before Barbara received a well-deserved standing ovation as we said our final goodbyes!

Barbara has given so much to our school community, and she will be missed enormously by pupils, families and staff alike.
