Our topic work on Ground, Air and Water has focused on minibeasts this week, in particular spiders and their amazing webs.

In year 2 this week, we have been learning 'quarter to' and 'quarter past', as well as different time intervals.

Last week, Year 4 had the opportunity to take part in a fantastic cricket festival held in our local Mayow Park.

In year 2, we have been looking at the work of William Morris. His work consists of repeated patterns reflecting natural objects such as birds, fruit, and vegetables.

Year 6 have been working on their 'moral' compass as they have been writing first person narratives!

This week, we participated in National Anti-Bullying Week, led by our proactive School Council. 

This Thursday, the whole school came together at 11 o'clock to remember those who have given their lives for us in service. 

Our year 3/4 football teams represented St. George's in the Mixed 3/4 Football ALPS Tournament this week. 

As part of our topic 'All About Me', we have been exploring  different celebrations and festivals. 

Year 6 took their first trip this year to the Junior Citizenship Event to learn how to be role models within society!

Reception have been busy learning all about the Hindu Festival of Light - Diwali!

Year 2 have been learning all about colour and shape during our art lessons this week! 

We are really proud of our published final drafts in writing across Key Stage Two.
