St George's Coronation

To celebrate Coronation weekend, we held our very own Coronation at St George's!

On Thursday, we had a very royal day. 

At lunchtime, we all had a special picnic outside in the Quad. 

Then, in the afternoon, we held our very own replica Coronation Service. 

Liam was the lucky pupil who had been plucked from the hat and chosen to be crowned 'King of St George's' for the afternoon. 

The service followed the order of service that the real Coronation will follow. 

All the pupils responded well, acting their part as auspicious guests for this regal event.
