On Thursday 15th June, St George's entered the annual year 5/6 boys football tournament. The event took place at St Dunstan's Jubilee ground on a hot summers day. Despite the high temperature, the whole squad did St George's proud, and met our PE values of:

Be passionate. 

Be respectful. 

Be determined.

The children took part in a round-robin format, where they played each team in the group and getting some excellent scores with some high level goals. Unfortunately, they just missed out on the top spot to go through to the knockout rounds. 

We look forward to our final School games events fo the year, which will be the cricket events.
