Rosh Hashanah

This term in RE we will be learning about the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashanah.

This week we learnt that Rosh Hashanah is a Jewish festival celebrating the Jewish new year. We were all amazed to know it lasts for two days and takes place during this season.

We found out that Jewish people celebrate by praying, eating challah bread, blowing a special horn called a shofar, and they eat apples and honey. We all tried some apples and honey and couldn't believe how delightful it tastes.

We sorted images out as well.

We also reflected on how we celebrate special occasions in our homes and discussed special things we do.

Be Curious.

Be Informed.

Be Reflective.
